HAMLET OF WALLKILL – The Town of Shawangunk Community Clock Fund
has been established to assist in raising the $25,000 needed to purchase
and install a clock in the hamlet of Wallkill.
The Town of Shawangunk Community Clock Fund was established at the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan to encourage donations. The Shawangunk Main Street Revitalization Committee has embarked on various fundraising initiatives to reach its financial goal.
The design of the clock is in the works and the specific location for it has not yet been determined. Standing on a brick base, the four-sided clock will be painted green with gold trim and could play seasonal music year-round.
