TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie woman was arrested on Sunday after she allegedly stabbed a man in the leg during a domestic dispute.
Poughkeepsie Town Police report that Jolene Fassino, 34, and a male acquaintance were walking on Dutchess Turnpike and were involved in a dispute.
At some point, Fassino took out a pocket knife and stabbed the man in his left leg. A motorist was flagged down and called 911 and the victim was transported to Vassar Brothers Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Fassino was charged with felony assault and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
