Lagrange woman arrested for intent to sell heroin

LAGRANGE – State Police arrested a Lagrange woman on felony drug charges following an incident on June 18.
Troopers were dispatched to Washburn Road in the Town of Lagrange for a report of a naked man screaming in a driveway. Troopers arrived and aided the man who was unintelligible and scratching his entire body.
Jeanette Calabrese, 28, of Lagrange was found in a nearby vehicle unconscious with both heroin and crack cocaine in her lap. Police also found over 50 bags of heroin, over 0.5 grams of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Calabrese was charged with three felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, including one count with intent to sell, and misdemeanor drug possession. She was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
The man was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie by Lagrange Fire Department for evaluation.
