POUGHKEEPSIE – The victim in an apparent bar brawl in Milo’s Cantina/Bar at 206 Main Street in Poughkeepsie has declined to press criminal charges so city police are dropping the case.
Without a cooperating victim, the police cannot proceed with criminal charges, authorities said.
The case was, however, referred to the state Liquor Authority.
Police were called to the bar at 10:30 p.m. on May 31 for a reported disturbance. When they arrived, the disturbance was over. It is believed the fight began over an unpaid bar tab.
Video of a portion of it had been placed on social media.
