NEWBURGH – A Go Fund Me
Page has been created for Gina Garzon of Newburgh, the 11-year-old girl
killed when a tree fell on her mother’s car during Tuesday’s
vicious storm.

She was a student of the Newburgh Enlarged City School District.

Creators of the page hope to raise $8,000 for funeral expenses; as of
5 p.m. on Wednesday, over $4,200 was pledged.

The author of the page said Gina had just made her first communion last
Saturday.

Vanessa Lopez, on behalf of Laura Nava, wrote that she was told Gina looked
beautiful at her communion.
