FISHKILL – A Brooklyn man was arrested and charged with promoting prison contraband as a felony.
State Police said an investigation revealed that on June 5, 2017, John Hayes, 32, was in possession of an improvised weapon while he was incarcerated at Downstate Correctional Facility. He was remained to the custody of the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
