Seinfeld

KIAMESHA LAKE – Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress President Jonathan Drapkin recently described the rebirth of the Sullivan County Catskills as “the Borscht Belt 2.0.”
Truer words were never spoken as Brooklyn-born comedian Jerry Seinfeld will be performing at the Epicenter at Resorts World Catskills in Kiamesha Lake on Saturday, May 12.
Seinfeld got his start at the legendary Kutsher’s Country Club, the resort that inspired the film “Dirty Dancing.”
Many of the comic legends of the past generation or two played the Borsht Belt, a favorite resort area for the northeast.
“Jerry Seinfeld is one of the greatest comedians of all time, and we’re honored to welcome him back to the Catskills as Resorts World Catskills’ inaugural performer,” said casino resort President Ryan Eller.
Seinfeld became main stream thanks to his long-running TV sitcom “Seinfeld,” which is still available in syndicated reruns.
Tickets are on sale at ticketmaster.com.
