POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro is gaining momentum in his effort to capture the Republican endorsement for governor this fall.
Six GOP chairs have switched their endorsement to Molinaro, including Broome County Republican Chairman Bijoy Daffa; Oneida County Chairman Pete Sobel; Madison County Republican Chairman Todd Rouse; Delaware County GOP Chairwoman Maria Kelso; Chenango County GOP Chairman Tom Morone; and Jefferson County Republican Chairman Don Coon.
State Senate Deputy Majority Leader John DeFrancisco is also seeking the Republican line on the November ballot.
