PINE PLAINS – Start-up company Titan Barrel Works is already planning to add 20 jobs to the six full-timers they currently employ by the end of the year.
The Pine Plains company designs and produces a barrel-aging system for wine and spirits that is a combination of wood and stainless-steel.
The enterprise operates since last year in a 16,700 square foot facility and anticipates producing 40,000 to 50,000 barrels per year, which could create an additional 150 jobs.
“The agri-business sector in Dutchess is one of our fastest-growing industries,” said Think Dutchess CEO Sarah Lee. “This includes innovative manufacturers like Titan Barrel that create additional jobs and opportunities to sustain and advance multiple industries.”
