ALBANY – The State Public Service Commission will hold a public hearing in Monticello on Wednesday, April 25 to hear from area residents about the recent winter storms and the resultant power outages.
The hearings will be held at the Monticello Firehouse at 23 Richardson Avenue with two sessions, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
“Sullivan County experienced crippling outages resulting from back-to-back snowstorms in March and the response by the utility companies was inadequate,” said State Senator John Bonacic.
Persons unable to attend may comment via the PSC website, write a letter to the PSC in Albany or call the toll-free opinion line at 800-335-2120.
