KINGSTON – The 10th Annual Ulster County Young Adult Job Fair held on Thursday at the Andy Murphy Midtown Center in Kingston is being hailed as a success.
Over 40 businesses and 189 students from five high schools, PTECH – Hudson Valley Pathways Academy and Ulster BOCES, participated in the event to promote jobs in healthcare, banking, recreation, retail and manufacturing for young people ages 16 to 24.
“I am pleased at the tremendous level of participation by both young people and businesses from across the county at this year’s job fair,” said County Executive Michael Hein. The fair brings together “young people seeking to learn new skills and work in occupations that they may choose to turn into careers, with businesses willing to provide them with experience right here in Ulster County.”
