WHITE PLAINS – Westchester County Executive George Latimer has named three more members to his administration team.
He appointed Marguerite Beirne as commissioner of the Department of Information Services, Lennox Harris as acting deputy IT commissioner and re-appointed Lawrence Soule as the county’s budget director.
Beirne is currently IT director for the Office of the County District Attorney. Previously she served as the IT commissioner’s position for the county.
Harris currently serves as the county’s network engineer manager where he is responsible for the design, plan and engineering, and operating of the county’s data network and security infrastructure while coordinating and managing network engineering staff for all technical activities and network projects.
Latimer said Soule “knows what type of fiscal stress we as a county are facility.”
Soule will be continuing in his current capacity as the county’s budget director where he is responsible for the county’s $1.8 billion operating budget, capital budget, community college budget, and water, sewer and refuse district budgets.
