THOMPSON – State Police charged a New York City man with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of marijuana after he was stopped on Route 17 in the Town of Thompson for driving with no headlights on in inclement weather.
Laderius Allen, 30, was pulled over on March 29 and while interviewing him, police detected a strong odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle discovered over 103 grams of marijuana and several ecstasy pills.
Allen paid $500 bail and was released on appearance tickets pending a future court appearance.
