Small plane crash lands in Gardiner Airport

GARDINER – A Cessna 208 single-engine aircraft with six people
onboard crashed off the end of Runway 30 at Gardiner Airport. None of
those onboard was believed to have been seriously injured.

The aircraft was attempting to depart when the accident occurred about
4:15 p.m. on Saturday.

The FAA will investigate and the NTSB will determine the probable cause
of the accident. Some of the passengers said the plane had experienced
engine trouble shortly after takeoff.

The plane suffered some minor nose damage.
