GOSHEN – The Orange County Clerk’s record room will open to the public in the new county government center in Goshen on Monday, March 26.
“Moving more than 300 years of public land records has been quite an endeavor,” said County Clerk Annie Rabbitt.
The record room contains all real estate transactions performed in the county. Residents may obtain a copy of a deed, satisfaction of mortgage or a business certification.
The county clerk’s motor vehicle office will also be opening at the government center in the next few weeks. The DMV offices in Middletown, Newburgh and Port Jervis will continue to operate.
