Wallkill hires Billy Casper Golf to manage town golf club

TOWN OF WALLKILL – The Town of Wallkill has signed a contract with Billy Casper Golf to manage its golf club that is rated four stars by Golf Digest.
Town Supervisor Edward Diana made the announcement on Wednesday saying the Billy Casper organization’s “resources overall and sophistication and in digital marketing specifically will help grow the club’s presence and attract new golfers.”
Diana said the company will manage the golf club initially for three years with anticipation the agreement will go beyond that. “We think this golf course is a premier golf course in Orange County. It does a great job and has been here since 1991.”
Patrick Hentze is Billy Casper general manager for Wallkill.
“This is a wonderful facility and we look forward to working closely with the Town of Wallkill to make this club a success,” Hentze said.
The catering portion of the golf club continues to be operated under contract with The Fountains, which also operates the Eagle’s Nest in Bloomingburg.
