Stockport man charged with rape

STOCKPORT – State Police have arrested a Stockport man following
his indictment by a Columbia County grand jury on a first-degree rape
charge.
Jeffrey Barmen was arrested on Tuesday, March 20, arraigned and remanded
to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
The investigation revealed Barmen allegedly committed the offense in March
2017 in the Town of Kinderhook.
