MONTGOMERY – The third annual Hudson Valley Gives, the 24-hour period to donate to one’s favorite charity online, will be held on May 16 from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
The event, sponsored by Community Foundations of Orange and Sullivan with the Association of Fundraising Professionals Mid-Hudson Region, raised over $203,000 last year and hopes to raise $250,000 this year, said Community Foundations’ Director of Development Michelle Hathaway.
“Everybody has a different mission but we are united in this effort to shine a light on philanthropy in our region and to come together to spotlight the plethora of need and the wonderful services of all of our non-profits offer in our wonderful Hudson Valley,” she said.
On Tuesday, April 10 non-profits wanting to participate are welcome to
attend a morning seminar at the Community Foundations’ Montgomery
office to learn more about the day of giving. For more information, visit
