Ulster homes sales up in early 2018

KINGSTON – The number
of single-family homes sold in Ulster County in the first two months of
the year rose eight percent above 2017, according to the Ulster County
Board of Realtors.

A total of 230 houses were sold in January and February, compared with
213 last year. February sales were flat at 103 homes sold each year.

The average selling price so far in 2018 rose 4.3 percent above the same
period last year, going from $258,124 to $269,142, the board reported.

Days on the market dropped by 12 percent, from 134 in January and February
of 2017 to 118 this year.
