EAST FISHKILL – Two New
York City area men have been arrested on drug charges after their vehicle
broke down on the Taconic State Parkway near Carpenter Road in East Fishkill.
`The occupants, Fabian Barrett, 34, of Uniondale, and Romique Meyers,
35, of Saint Albans, were each charged with felony criminal possession
of drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Troopers found approximately five ounces of cocaine and a small amount
of marijuana.
Both men were remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
