KINGSTON – The number of single-family homes sold in Ulster County
in January rose by 16.5 percent over January 2017, according to statistics
from the Ulster County Board of Realtors.
A total of 127 homes were sold this past January compared with 109 one
year earlier.
The average selling price rose by five percent, going from $236,510 in
January 2017 to $248,329 this past January.
Days on the market dropped from 125 to 122, a decline of 2.4 percent.
Faster sale of homes is an indication of a good market, real estate officials
say.
