POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the armed robbery of a Gulf gas station on Route 9D in the Town of Fishkill.
Investigators said a lone man entered the store around 11:30 p.m. on February 26, pulled a handgun and left on foot after stealing some $300 from the clerk.
The clerk was not hurt.
The suspect is described as a light skinned man, approximately five-feet, nine inches tall, skinny build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and armed with a black pistol. He was last seen leaving the store on foot heading north on Route 9D.
