TOWN OF HARRISON – State Police said the driver of a truck that collided with another vehicle while on I-287 in the Town of Harrison on Tuesday evening was killed in that incident.
Police said John Riofrio, 48, of New York City, was eastbound on the highway around 7:30 p.m. when he collided with another vehicle.
After the crash, he lost control of his truck which ran off the road, over the south shoulder and through a guiderail, before overturning and coming to rest in a small stream. He died at the scene.
Two passengers in the truck, William Feliciano, 24, and Salazar Carrillo, 29, both from New York City were treated for minor injuries were transited to Westchester Medical Center.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
