POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie man is in the Dutchess County Jail
in lieu of $50,000 cash bail following his arrest on a felony charge of
criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell as a
felony.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on February
21 at 57 Cannon Street in the City of Poughkeepsie, where Joseph Hooper,
26, lives.
During the search of the residence, some 150 bags of heroin, scales and
packaging materials were seized along with $5,000 in cash.
Police said additional charges may be pending.
