CONGERS – Route 9W in Congers was shut down for several hours Friday evening as Clarkstown Police investigated a fatal accident.
The accident occurred around 5:20 p.m. near 259 Route 9W. The occupant in the car was killed. Her name was not release pending notification of relatives.
The accident remains under investigation.
