Stewart terminal – soon to be a movie set
NEWBURGH – Residents of Newburgh and New Windsor are being sought to serve as extras for the NBC pilot “Manifest,” with scenes to be filmed at Stewart Airport on March 15 and 16. Locals will be paid to play airport travelers, police and other roles.
The plot of the pilot of this “high-concept mystery thriller” is described as a plane disappearing from radar and returning five years later after being untraceable and presumed lost at sea. No time has passed for those on the plane, but for their loved ones at home, a long five years have gone by. The series follows their personal lives as well as the larger mystery and purpose for their destiny.
The Hudson Valley Film Commission said interested persons should email their phone number, height, weight, clothing and shoe sizes, and current picture to pilots@gwcnyc.com. Write “Stewart Airport Local” in the subject line.
