CARMEL – Assemblyman Kevin Byrne (R, Mahopac) announced he will seek a second two-year term in November. He will make the formal announcement in Carmel on Saturday.
Byrne’s 94th District includes portions of Putnam and Westchester counties.
“New York needs us to preserve together, because it still leads the nation in all the wrong ways, remaining among the highest taxes, least business friendly and most indebted states,” he said. “We face a $4 billion budget deficit this year alone. That’s no way to grow, no way to hire, and no way to live – and that’s why all too many of our friends, neighbors, and loved ones are leaving for more promising places.”
Byrne said he is in the Assembly “to change that.”
