WHITE PLAINS – Three people
have been charged on Monday through a federal complaint with robbing a
Key Bank branch in New City on Friday, February 9.
Two of the defendants were charged with brandishing a firearm during the
robbery. All three were taken into custody shortly after the robbery.
Jason Parris, 34, of Nyack, Demetrice Young, 27, of Spring Valley, and
Iyibia Brown, 24, of Monsey were each charged with bank robbery conspiracy,
which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, and one count
of bank robbery, which carries up to 20 years in prison.
Parris and Young were also each charged with one count of brandishing
a firearm during the robbery, which carries a sentence of from seven years
to life in prison.
