Sex offender charged with indecent exposure

VILLAGE OF GOSHEN – A Newburgh man, who is a level one sex offender,
was arrested by Goshen Village Police on Monday in connection with a case
of public lewdness on January 27.

At about 1:20 that afternoon, Jonathan Massey allegedly exposed himself
to a woman and two girls under the age of 16 while in a car in the Quick
Chek convenience store parking lot at 79 Matthews Street in Goshen.

Massey had been arrested by Newburgh City Police on January 21 on a charge
of exposure.
On this Monday, February 5, Goshen Police discovered Massey again in the
parking lot of the Quick Chek store where he was apprehended.

He was charged with exposure of a person s a violation, and misdemeanors
of endangering the welfare of a child, public lewdness and operating a
motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

Massey was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of
$15,000 bond.
