Port Jervis woman sentenced to Pennsylvania Jail

MILFORD, PA – A Port Jervis woman was sentenced to eight months to 18 months in the Pike County, PA Jail followed by two years of probation for the crimes of fleeing or eluding a police officer and possession of a controlled substance.
Lyndsey Watkins, 30, was also fined $700 and had her driver’s license suspended.
Eastern Pike Regional Police attempted to pull her over along Route 6 and 209 in Matamoras on February 29, 2016, for a loud muffler. She failed to pull over and evaded police entering I-84 traveling at a high rate of speed.
On November 23, 2016, police responded to a residence in Westfall Township where Watkins was located. She was found in possession of heroin.
