Five arrested by Sullivan County Welfare Fraud Task Force

LIBERTY – The Sullivan County Welfare Fraud Task Force arrested five people on a variety of charges.
Jonnell Bowers, 36, of Liberty, was charged with a felony of offering a false instrument for filing and a misdemeanor of welfare fraud. It is alleged that she filed a false medical report so she could qualify for and collect public assistance benefits.
Clifton Stallworth, 39, of Rock Hill was arrested and turned over to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. He was wanted there for failing to pay $28,319 in child support.
Glen Flickenschild, 43, of Monticello, was arrested on an outstanding criminal mischief bench warrant from State Police.
Jesse Frank, 32, of Liberty, was arrested after it was learned he was wanted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding violation of probation warrant.
Arlene Vigilone, 53, of Fallsburg, was charged with felony offering a
false instrument for filing and misdemeanor welfare fraud. It is alleged
that she collected for food stamp benefits to which she was not entitled
by failing to report income she was receiving.
