KINGSTON – Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Kerhonkson man on a charge of petit larceny. This is not the first time Joseph Petras, 31, was arrested.
In April 2017, he was one of four people charged in a burglary at the Capri Motel in Esopus. He was arrested this time on January 24 after deputies received a report of a larceny from a vehicle in the Town of Wawarsing. It is alleged that two days before, he entered a victim’s vehicle and stole property. He was arrested in Wawarsing Town Court where he was appearing for another criminal matter.
Petras was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
