MID-HUDSON – Westchester County Board of Legislators’ Chairman Benjamin Boykin has named Dennis Power as his chief of staff.
Power is a former White Plains city councilman and retired county program director for the Department of Environmental Facilities.
“I have known Dennis for nearly 30 years and have worked closely with him on numerous key economic, environmental and social issues facing White Plains and our county,” said Boykin. “He brings extensive legislative, managerial and political experience to the table and is well known as a community bridge builder who is well respected in White Plains and throughout the county. Having worked for the county for seven years, he also brings an understanding of how Westchester government operates.”
Dutchess County Legislature Chairman Gregg Pulver named Nicholas Joseph as the assistant to the chairman. For the past three years, Joseph has served as a policy analyst for State Senator Susan Serino.
“Nicholas is bringing a wealth of knowledge of the legislative process and the workings of government to the position,” said Pulver. “He is the ideal person to work alongside me and each legislator in order to have this body operate in a more productive and efficient manner.”
