Sex offender arrested after eluding police for two years

KINGSTON – A woman wanted by Hyde Park Police for two years on a charge of felony failure to register as a sex offender was arrested Tuesday evening in the Town of Woodstock.
Hyde Park Police had announced on Tuesday that they were looking for Nicole Plass, 39, ever since a warrant was issued on January 31, 2015. She was believed to be in the Kingston area.
On the same date, members of the URGENT Task Force began an investigation and developed intelligence confirming that Plass was living in the City of Kingston and recently went to the Town of Woodstock in the evening.  Police found her at a residence on Yerry Hill Road and made the arrest
Plass was turned over to Town of Hyde Park Police.
