PLEASANT VALLEY – A husband and wife from Patchogue, Long Island
were arrested last Friday, January 13 while driving on the Taconic State
Parkway in Peasant Valley.
Michael Morea, 39, and Samantha Morea, 32, were both charged with felony drug possession and unlawful possession of marijuana.
They were stopped for speeding just before 11 a.m. Officers detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the pickup truck. An investigation revealed they were in possession of cocaine as well.
Both were sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond each.
