Fire rages in Goshen apartment building

GOSHEN – Firefighters from 10 Orange County departments fought
a three-alarm blaze at 10 New Street at West Main Street in the Village
of Goshen late Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters arrived to flames billowing out of windows; they quickly
spread from the first to the top floors.

Everyone inside were reported to have escaped safely. Red Cross was called
in to assist the residents; as many as six families lived there.

There were no injuries to firefighters and the cause of the fire is under
investigation.
