KINGSTON – Sales of single-family
homes rose in Ulster County during 2017 as compared to the previous year,
the Ulster County Board of Realtors reported on Thursday.
In 2017, 1,716 homes were sold as compared to 1,633 in 2016.
The average selling price in 2017 was $253,513, compared with $238,858 the year before.
The days on the market dropped from 134 in 2016 to 115 in 2017. Real
estate officials say a sign of a good market is a lower number of days
that remain on the market before they are sold.
