Woman charged with identity theft and racking up over $30,000 in charges

LAGRANGE – A LaGrange woman was arrested on Tuesday and charged with opening credit cards using another woman’s identity and charging over $30,000 in purchases.
State Police arrested Laura Quinn, 46, following a two-month investigation into a complaint of fraudulent credit cards being opened using the victim’s name.
Quinn was charged with identity theft, grand larceny and attempted identity theft, all as felonies.  Shew as released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
