DeProspo sworn in as Orange County Court judge

GOSHEN – It was a family affair at the swearing in of the new Orange
County Court judge on Monday.

William DeProspo took the oath of office from Judge Catherine Bartlett,
his wife. His two sons and daughter stood by his side during the ceremony.

DeProspo, who was a partner in a Goshen law firm, began his career in
the Bronx District Attorney’s Office where he served for six years.
He began representing clients in the Mid-Hudson Valley in 1989.

He also served until recent years as the chairman of the Orange County
Republican Committee.
