CARMEL – A two-car collision on Seminary Hill Road in Carmel shortly before 9 a.m. on Friday injured four people, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office reported.
According to preliminary investigation, a Carmel woman was southbound on Seminary Hill road with her three children when she reportedly lost control of her car on a patch of ice. The vehicle slid sideways and crossed into the northbound lane, colliding with a car driven by another Carmel woman.
Two of the children were injured. A six-year-old boy suffered an apparent broken collarbone and his 12-year-old sister had a possible leg injury. Both drivers complained of neck and back pain. The third child, a 14-year-old boy, was not injured.
