GOSHEN – At noon on Saturday, veterans’ cemeteries across
the land will mark Wreathes Across America, as the holiday symbols will
be placed at every veteran’s grave as another way to honor those
who have come before us.

On Thursday, an 18-wheel Walmart tractor-trailer rolled into Goshen escorted
by dozens of police cars and fire trucks with their red lights on and
sirens sounding.

Inside the truck were 3,000 wreathes, paid for by private and corporate
donations, that will be placed at every grave in the Orange County Veterans’
Cemetery at noon on Saturday.

The event is open to the public.
