Warwick man stabbed in fight, Haverstraw man arrested

TOWN OF WARWICK – A Haverstraw
man has been charged with felony robbery and assault in connection with
an incident in which a Warwick man was stabbed several times.

Warwick Town Police were called to St. Anthony’s Hospital at 12:30
a.m. on Saturday, December 2 for an individual who had been stabbed.

Officers learned the victim, Herman Hernandez, 21, of Warwick was involved
in an altercation at 153 Route 94 South during which he sustained stab
wounds to his upper torso and hands. He was treated and released at the
hospital.

As a result of an investigation by Warwick detectives with assistance
from State Police, Haverstraw Police and Village of Monroe Police, Joshua
Zuberbanks, 19, of Haverstraw was arrested.

He was remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
