Rolison is a Republican and outgoing Poughkeepsie Common Council Chairwoman
Natasha Cherry is a Democrat; however, they have developed an amicable
working relationship together.
What the relationship between Rolison and newly elected Democratic Chairwoman Ann Finney will be remains to be seen. When asked if she expects them to work hand-in-glove, she was skeptical.
“Hand-and-glove may be a little optimistic at the moment. I think that we will be working together respectfully and productively,” Finney said.
Finney will be sworn in on January 2.
