Fire damages Poughkeepsie building

Lots of smoke but no injuries

POUGHKEEPSIE – Firefighters were called to a fire at 232 Mansion Street in the City of Poughkeepsie at 10 a.m. on Friday to find smoke billowing from the 2 ½ story building.
The structure houses the Anderson Family Daycare Center, which was unoccupied at the time.
No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
Arlington and Fairview fire departments were called in for the two-alarm fire.  Mobile Life Support Services, City of Poughkeepsie Police and Central Hudson Gas and Electric were also on the scene.
