ALBANY – An Ancram man was arraigned in US District Court in Albany on Friday on an indictment charging him with possessing firearms as a felon.
The indictment charges Christopher Mikelinich, 62, with possessing a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun and a .22 caliber semi-automatic rifle after having been convicted of a felony offense. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to three years of post-release supervision.
The case is being investigated by the ATF and State Police.
