KINGSTON – A 20-year-old
Ulster Park man was arrested and charged with murder in connection with
the death of a 49-year-old Kingston man.
Kingston City Police charged Seth Lyons with killing Anthony Garro, Jr.
of Kingston. Police said it appears Garro succumbed to injuries sustained
in an assault.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
Garro’s body was found under the Elmendorf Street Bridge over the
railroad tracks around 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
Kingston Police were assisted in the investigation by the Ulster County
District Attorney’s Office, State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation
and Forensic Investigation Unit.
