MONTICELLO – Frontier
Communications has resolved the issue of 911 emergency calls not making
their way from the Mamakating area to the Sullivan County emergency services
center.
County spokesman Dan Hust said it was a bad trunk line that temporarily
interfered with 911 service in the 888 exchange in the Town of Mamakating.
Service has been restored.
The service was disrupted early this morning and restored at mid-afternoon.
