High bail set in felony criminal contempt arrest

SAUGERTIES – Saugerties Police responded to 1610 Glasco Turnpike for a reported domestic incident late Friday afternoon.
James Yates, 43, was taken into custody and charged with the felony of criminal contempt of a court order and the violations of harassment and unlawful possession of marihuana. Yates was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
