TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – The Arlington Fire District was dispatched to Shady Brook Trailer Park, 67 Old Manchester Road at about 5:25 this morning for a reported fire in the trailer park. The first fire department unit arrived within three minutes.
No occupants were discovered inside. The two individuals that resided in the trailer were not home at the time.
The trailer sustained severe damage and is uninhabitable. Two vehicles and an adjacent vacant trailer also sustained damage. No civilian or first responder injuries were reported.

Assisting at the scene of the fire were the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department, Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department, Mobile Life Support Services, DC Dept. of Emergency Response, Town Building Department, and Central Hudson Gas & Electric. The Roosevelt, Pleasant Valley, and New Hamburg Fire Districts relocated equipment to cover Arlington stations.
