Bronx teen charged in fatal shooting of another teen

WHITE PLAINS – A Bronx resident, was arraigned in Westchester County Court an indictment charging him with several crimes in the fatal shooting of Joseph Kuaffo, 16, of Yonkers
Horace Allen, 17, is charged with single counts of manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm. All charages are felonies.
On September 24, Allen was at the Yonkers home of Kuaffo showing off a loaded handgun when it went off, striking Kuaffo in the chest. Allen immediately fled the scene.
The victim who was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Yonkers where he was pronounced dead.
Yonkers detectives found the handgun used in the shooting and after interviewing witnesses and processing forensic and ballisitic evidence, arrested Allen a short time later.
Allen pled not guilty. Bail was set at $100,000 cash over $250,000 bond.  His next court date is December 13.
